Looking at yours, it's difficult to work out which you chose <g>

[snip aliases]

I find it easier to simply make the digest pipe a subscriber to the list,
by the name of list-mkdigest@host, likewise for making the archive;
this will make your aliases much simpler. An example from my aliases

| embrace-digest-request: "| /usr/majordomo/wrapper request-answer embrace-digest"
| embrace-request: "| /usr/majordomo/wrapper request-answer embrace"
| embrace: archive, "| /usr/majordomo/wrapper resend -l embrace embrace-outgoing"
| embrace-digest-outgoing: :include:/usr/majordomo/lists/embrace-digest
| embrace-mkarchive: /usr/majordomo/lists/embrace.archive/embrace.199809
| embrace-mkdigest: /usr/majordomo/digests/embrace-digest/
| embrace-outgoing: :include:/usr/majordomo/lists/embrace

Much easier to read than your aliases, imo. Oh, and about these these two:

| embrace-mkarchive: /usr/majordomo/lists/embrace.archive/embrace.199809
| embrace-mkdigest: /usr/majordomo/digests/embrace-digest/

don't ask why I don't use Majordomo's archive and digest scripts,
I just don't see the need for them (except running digest weekly to
push digests out). Exim can append to a file and create a new file in
a directory perfectly well by itself, without calling a Perl script.
