What do the logs say for a typical message? Was there a time when
deliveries were not working, causing the retry time to get set? Try
calling "exinext" to find out the problem that caused the retry time to
be set in the first place, e.g.

exinext user@domain

You can wipe out all retry information by deleting the retry files
inside the spool/db directory. This will include the data for both local
and remote deliveries, of course.
