I got a clean compile on my linux box using libc 5.4.38 and libgdbm
1.7.3. Trying to reproduce your error I build an exim linked to libdb
1.85 but encountered no problems either. I don't think the problem is
with the exim 2.02 code. What database library did you set in the
makefiles?
