But the mail gateway (not exim) mangled the next bit. It should have read:
dahol@lt02:~$ mailx dave.holland@???
Subject: another test
foo
~b dave@???
.
Cc:
dahol@lt02:~$
...leaves the Bcc: line intact on delivery.
dahol@lt02:~$ /usr/sbin/exim -t
From: dave.holland@???
To: dave.holland@???
Bcc: dave.holland@???
Subject: a test
check the Bcc: line
.
dahol@lt02:~$
...drops the Bcc: line (as it should).
(Using exim 2.02 (Debian v1), Debian Linux, problem also seen
with exim 1.92, and in conjunction with the "mutt" mailer.)
