I've recently noticed that emails I send with a Bcc: line are being
delivered to their final destination with the Bcc: line still present.
I've done a few experiments to try to find out what's causing this:
dahol@lt02:~$ mailx dave.holland@???: another testfoo~b dave@???
.Cc: dahol@lt02:~$...leaves the Bcc: line intact on delivery.dahol@lt02:~$ /usr/sbin/exim -tFrom: dave.holland@???: dave.holland@???: dave.holland@???: a testcheck the Bcc: line.dahol@lt02:~$...drops the Bcc: line (as it should).
Using the "mutt" mailer with a Bcc: set also results in the Bcc: line
being present in the delivered copy.This is with exim 2.02 (Debian version 1) on Debian Linux. I've also
seen the problem with exim 1.92.Thanks for any help!Dave
