In debian I used eximconfig to run using smarthost. My real address and
smarthost is purdue.edu, my hostname is nonexistent.purdue.edu.
I only need to change these in main configuration:
qualify_domain = purdue.edu
qualify_recipient = nonexistent.purdue.edu
local_domains = nonexistent.purdue.edu

Then, every recipient address in the mail I send, that doesn't have
anything after @ (local?), will be qualified as nonexistent.purdue.edu,
and will be considered local.
and my From address will be qualified as purdue.edu.
