Heck! I've not had time to write all the user documentation people want,
so there has been no time at all to write any internal documentation
about the way Exim operates. Sorry, but anything like that is a very,
very long way off.

FYI: opt_hidden and opt_public, despite their names, are totally
orthogonal. The first means "don't show this option when listing options
with -bP". It is used for some obsolete options that are retained for
compatibility, and for some specials that are used internally and
shouldn't be visible outside. The second means that the value is stored
in the generic portion of the driver's data block, and not in its
private options - and its value is therefore "public" to the rest of
Exim.
