Having just printed out 822 for another reason, I have it in front of me...
An authenticate header is
from: <mailbox>
or
sender: <mailbox>
a mailbox is
addr-spec | phrase route-addr
addr-spec is
local-part@domain
phrase is
1*word
word is
atom | quoted-string
route-addr is
<[route] addr-spec>
from that, notably the second form of mailbox, none of Vadik's addresses
are valid, nor is the one that prompted the initial note.
