Hi gurus,
I am experiencing problems/confusion with either the /var/yp/src/aliases
file format or how EXIM interrupts the NIS mapname. FYI, we run EXIM V1.92
on Digital UNIX V4.0d.
Here is the NIS entry from the directory configuration section:
-- cut --
system_aliases:
driver = aliasfile
search_type = nis
file = mail.aliases
user = nobody
-- cut --
...and a small section from /var/yp/src/aliases:
-- cut --
foo:user1, user2, user3
bar:user1,
user2,
user3
-- cut --
The 'foo' aliases is interrupted correctly but not all users of 'bar'
are fully expanded. For example,
-- cut --
/var/yp # sendmail -v -bt bar@pol1
user1@???
<-- bar@???
deliver to user1@???
router = lookuphost, transport = remote_smtp
host wcse2.phy.cam.ac.uk [131.111.49.12] MX=5
host ppsw4.cam.ac.uk [131.111.8.44] MX=7
host ppsw3.cam.ac.uk [131.111.8.38] MX=7
/var/yp #
-- cut --
Could anybody help? Summary to follow.
Regards,
Rich
