Hello,
some brain-dead NT SMTP-servers hang on smtp transfers, if the
DATA section contains NUL-characters at the end.
E.g., an "\0 \n" at the end will make the receiving NT server not
noticing the appended ".\n".
Of cause, this is not an Exim problem.
However, I'd like to fix this on our side, and I wonder if a
feature like this (e.g. "suppress_invalid_bytes" as a transport
option) would be of interest for others...
