Hi !
I've set up exim and it seems to run fine.
The only very funny thing is that for one domain it decides to deliver
locally.
I've tested several but only one won't deliver:
homer# exim -v -bt postmaster@???
postmaster@???
local delivery to postmaster in domain public.uni-hamburg.de
router = lookuphost, transport = local_delivery
homer# exim -v -bt postmaster@???
postmaster@???
remote delivery to postmaster@???
router = smartrelayhost, transport = smtp
host mail.rwth-aachen.de [137.226.144.9]
homer# exim -v -bt postmaster@???
postmaster@???
remote delivery to postmaster@???
router = smartrelayhost, transport = smtp
host mail.rwth-aachen.de [137.226.144.9]
As you can guess, I want to deliver to someone at public.uni-hamburg.de
And to exactly this one exim won't deliver.
I use a .forward file for a user called chris and it has the line
fs6y219@???
in it.
This should immediately forward all mail to chris to the above address
changing the Reply-To and from line with this in exim.conf
fs6y219@??? chris@??? fFsr
But, (as you see above) even the test of the domain fails.
Do you have any ideas ?
I use exim 1.62-3 on a Debian/Gnu Linux machine.
Thanks for any help !
Regards,
Frank
