Hello, I found this message between Chad and Philip on DejaNews and
I'm having the same problem. It has helped to solve my problem
because i now know why it is not working. However, when it is trying
to write the lock hitching file to my /var/spool/mail directory, it is
trying to write it as the user zzz, however, only root and mail have
r/w access to the /var/spool/mail directory .. well, to create a new
file anyways. so there's a file
rw-rw---- zzz mail 0 somedate zzz
but the perms for /var/spool/mail are
rwxrwx--- root mail 0 somedate mail
how do i go about solving this problem so zzz can write a lock
hitching file (which I have no clue what it does) .. to the
/var/spool/mail directory? =)
thank you very much!!!!
