How have you configured it? Have you put
domains = thatdomain.com
on all the directors that apply only to the other domain (specifically,
the aliasing ones)? (Or, alternatively, put
domains = shadypond.com
on the ones for your domain?) [Or have you arranged for the alias file
to be domain-specific? - so many ways to do this!]
Whatever you have done, you can check out what it is actually doing by
running
exim -d9 -bt postmaster@???
for example.
