I was flushing some mail off of one of our Exim v1.82 on Solaris 2.5.1
mail relays and I noticed something odd. The message id and "connecting
to" message didn't match the message actually being delivered.
In this case it said it was connecting to mail.grinnellmech.com and that
it had connected, delivering 0yRfBc-00018l-00. However
mail.grinnellmech.com was not connected to us at the time. And as of this
email message 0yRfBc-00018l-00 is still on queue and hasn't even attempted
a delivery in about an hour.
