You also get a mail reply, since I'm grateful!
In the meantime I downloaded and compiled TCL and Expect, played around
with the vrfy script and found out that it half works and half doesn't.
I'll play around some more, read - and it's probably good enough for
what I want, THANKS.
So Philip doesn't have to bother, that's the main thing.
