A small nit;
Right now the tarfiles are assembled using the naming scheme:
exim-format-release/doc/format
Isn't this a tad redundant? Since you're already using subdirectories by
format, can't we take that out of the top-level diretory name; eg:
exim-1.90/doc/html
exim-1.90/doc/postscript
exim-1.90/doc/ascii
etc.
Granted, it's trivial to move around once unpacked, but the above form
would support use in both the source tree, and /usr/doc hierarchies
popular on Linux and other systems.
