I thought I had better report back on the resolution of our "DBM" problem.
After using exim -bd -d9 to watch what was going on I found that our list of
allowed relays required *.host.co.uk: rather than just host.co.uk:
Once I made that changed (and persuaded all our customers to use reverse DNS)
I was able to switch on send_host_accept_relay quite happily.
Thanks very much for the help guys. I no longer have a free relay.
