[EXIM] HELO rejection logging

I get the following logged in exim_rejectlog:

1998-03-24 21:29:40 rejected HELO: syntactically invalid argument(s): afa_mail.afassoc.com

According to spec.txt for helo_verify, "if a bad HELO or EHLO is
given, it is rejected with a 550 error. Rejections are logged in the
main and reject logs". I do not have helo_verify set, but I'd like
the above reject message to be logged in exim_mainlog; is there a way
to do that?
