Would someone please explain the key number next to exim errors. For example
3 bcairney@??? R=lookuphost T=smtp: SMTP error
from remote mailer after RCPT TO: <bcairney@???>:
host mail.rapidnet.net [207.102.150.144]: 550 <bcairney@???>...
User unknown
1 milholm@??? R=lookuphost T=smtp: SMTP error
from remote mailer after RCPT TO: <milholm@???>:
host max-net.com [204.50.215.5]: 550 <milholm@???>...
User unknown
Why does the first one have a 3 preceding it, and the second one a 1 ?
Also, does anybody have a modification to eximstats that will show the
number of messages sent from a particular address. That is, I would like to
see how many messages are delivered from mailing lists. The log looks like
1998-02-03 00:17:20 0xzSvJ-0006Pf-00 => muller@???
<newville@???>
1998-02-03 00:17:20 0xzSvJ-0006Pf-00 -> seag@???
<newville@???>
1998-02-03 00:17:20 0xzSvJ-0006Pf-00 -> sweet@???
<newville@???>
1998-02-03 00:17:27 0xzSvM-0006Qh-00 => joe@???
<linux@???>
1998-02-03 00:17:27 0xzSvM-0006Qh-00 => jen@???
<linux@???>
and I would like to see a report that looks like
list name number of messages delivered
--------- ----------------------------
newville 3
linux 2
Thanks for any feedback.
