Rdist would seem like a good choice. Or if you've got big tables rsync,
might come in handy. You could be completely sick and use uucp over
tcp. :-)

Rdist should come with your unix. Rsync is available from:
ftp://samba.anu.edu.au/pub/rsync/

Rsync can cope with using ssh connections for better security. There is
a newer version of rdist which can also do this available at:
ftp://usc.edu/pub/rdist/
