Hi
I have Exim running as a mail relay (outgoing only, no local deliveries)
for two
student Microsoft Exchange servers and though all is running well I am
now
seeing the following in the rejectlog file:
Example:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------
1998-01-07 14:36:47 unqualified recipient rejected:
<"person@???">
H=mailer.glam.ac.uk [nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------
Is the address shown in the rejectlog the failing 'recipient' address
(in which case I
don't understand the problem as it looks OK to me) or is the failure due
to the sending
student address being unqualified (in which case I would expect to see
'unqualified
sender rejected') ??
In the local Exim configuration file, receiver_unqualified_hosts and
sender_unqualified_hosts
specify the localhost only.
