Figured it out finally, using truss -f ... it was blocking on a poll() in
the ident section, so with that in hand I had the router guys check the
access lists and sure enough the firewall wasn't permitting the ident port
for the new 10.10.x.x network, hence the 60s delay. Minor oversight :)
