I have
sender_reject_recipients = partial-dbm;/disk2/exim/tables/blocked-senders
but have found with a few addresses where there are mixed case local
parts, exim doesn't see a match,
e.g. Best-Biz@???
and the spam gets through. The manual implies that an exact match is done.
Here's what happens:
220 mailhub2.liv.ac.uk ESMTP Exim 1.73 #2 Thu, 11 Dec 1997 13:18:59 +0000
helo there
250 mailhub2.liv.ac.uk: Hello localhost [127.0.0.1]
mail from:<Best-Biz@???>
250 <Best-Biz@???> is syntactically correct
rcpt to:<qq11>
250 <qq11> is syntactically correct
now I've checked another example in my list of blocked senders and I
get a
550 rejected: administrative prohibition
as I would expect.
Thanks.
