Subject: Strange problem...
Hi,

we have a strange problem with our Exim-Installation (1.73):
Whenever an external mail (i.e. from Intranet -> Internet) is
to be sent, an nslookup/bind is done. (Correct so far). But when
there is no result (probably typo in hostname), Exim adds .mylocaldomain.de
to the original domain, then tries a local delivery and then fails :-(

Example: I want to send a mail to president@??? but mispell
it like "president@???". Instead of failing with unknown
host, Exim changes recipient to "president@???"
which then fails locally of course. :-(

How can I stop Exim from doing that?? I can't find the spot, where the
change happens....

Regards,
Andreas
