Subject: pipeing mail from exim to a different version of exim
People

I want to have the Exim configuration running as bd, accept incoming mail, and for certain addresses, hand this mail off to a different version of Exim, running a different configuration file.

I have tried setting up an alias file, that looks like

local-part:    |/usr/local/exim/bin-other/exim

or

local-part:    |/usr/local/exim/bin-other/exim -bs

or

local-part:    |/usr/local/exim/bin-other/exim -bs -t

All of these return a zero return code to the daemon Exim, however, the other Exim never seems to get the mail.

Is there a way to accommodate this off-beat request ?

Thanks

mark
