At this site, we only do reverse lookups for local machines. I really
don't want our log files to get even bigger by the addition of lots of
copies of the string "unknown". That's why I went for the minimalist
notation. Perhaps putting the ? first would be better?
?helo.name [ip.address]
Then in all forms, if there is a non-? alphameric character first, it is
known to be verified.
