Greetings!
When one of our employees leaves, we redirect that mailbox to a vacation
program, so that a more "human friendly" message is delivered. I just
received a complaint due to a mailing list using the non-standard
"errors-to" header, so that the bounce went back to the sender. I
explained that it's the mailing list at fault, but he had a good point
that I didn't have any part of the original message in the text so that
he could know which list it was generated from. I modified the subject
to include the original, but I'm missing how to include a certain amount
(500 lines in $message_body is quite fine) of the original text along
with the "human friendly" message we want sent.
At the moment, the vacation statement in the .forward file is:
vacation once $original_local_part
log $original_local_part.log
subject "Mailbox $original_local_part does not exist.
Original subject: $header_subject"
Am I overlooking the obvious for doing what I want, or does anyone have
a suggestion?
Thanks in advance!
