I develop Exim on a Solaris 2.5.1 system, and at present I'm running
with Berkeley DB. The volume of mail is infinitesimal. However, it is
also run with Berkeley DB (1.85) on our central mail switches, and there
have been no problems there.

I guess you saw the comment about header files that was posted a while
back.
