Sorry, I didn't understand what you meant.

I take it what you want is not a convenient way for users to get mail that's
already there when they dial up, but for mail that arrives when they're
online to be sent straight on without waiting?

If so, couldn't you just remove their entry from the database (by
manipulating the db-file manually perhaps) as soon as they connect?
