sorry to ask something so trivial when i see such lofty
ideas going back and forth here, but ...

solaris (sunos 5.3) is the platform. using exim 1.61.
i am trying to get exim to notify comsat.
i have notify_comsat = true in the local_delivery
transport. no recent changes to comsat/inet.d/etc.

just the plug and play exim on top of the very old sendmail.
tty windows set using biff, and verified.

restarted exim ... still no comsat notice.

again, sorry for the noise, but i really did not want
to bother phil --- anyone have any help for this last
little sendmail-converted-to-exim problem?

feel free to send email straight to me instead of causing
more noise in this group ...
