When using exim to send mail from the knews newsreader, I noticed a
problem: a couple of blank lines were being added between each line of
text. I had a look at what knews was sending to exim, and this looked
fine:

I then tried invoking exim manually (with the -t option, which is what
knews uses) and pasted the above text into the session: the message was
sent correctly, with no blank lines. Piping exactly the same text into
exim (cat foo | exim -t) caused the problem to occur, however.
Could this be a bug in exim, or am I just doing something stupid? I am
running it under Linux, by the way.
