exim 1.60 on both sunos 4.1.3u1, solaris 2.5.1 and linux 1.3.100 can dump.
Our aliases file comes via nis where there are the following aliases:

Mailing lmjm works file as does mail to zl. Attemping to mail to
agony causes exim to dump.
