The latter is too hard -- if you give users the rope, they can use it !
Even if "seen finish" is removed, pipes to commands are blocked, bozo users
could still forward their email through some gateway to a duff address which
will be black holed.
Yes, try to protect users from themselves, but you can't make it impossible !
