What I would like is a clause in the config file that can use the
number of times a message has failed and then process the message
differently depending on this.
I guess this is tricky to do as most of the processing that determines
where a message is going is done once only.
However if a message could be completely re-processed this would be a major
win.
You could then say things like, if a message has failed 10 times use a
different MX record and send to a different host. Or if an on site MTA
is down, queued message could be sent to a different MTA.
