Well, if any mailer sends out mail with
MAIL FROM: <sender behind a firewall>
then they deserve all they get. Exim (like smail) will be unable to
return any such messages to their senders in the case of delivery
failures. The argument to MAIL FROM is supposed to be something the
recipient mailer can see. At least, I cannot see that it makes sense
otherwise.
