Not sure who Mark is, but
- the project doesn't deal in pull requests. Patch diffs attached to this
bug would be good.
- please separate the actual fix and any feature additions
- anything changing documentation (cf. additions...) should preferably come
with the relevant docs changes (doc/doc-docbook/spec,xfpt or
doc/doc-txt/experimental-spec.txt)
- testsuite lives in test/. The README details the scripting language.
Extending an existing testcase would be good, if there is one for dsearch.
"listtests | grep dsearch" suggests case 2500.
