Subject: [exim] truncated addr->message in warning messages
Hello

Why the value of addr->message is different in warning messages sent by
queue runner and warning messages sent by exim manually executed with -v
-M options?

This is a piece of warning message sent by exim -v -M:

  test@???
    host mail2.itsupport.kiev.ua [91.197.146.24]
    Delay reason: SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT
TO:<test@???>:
    451-Recipient address deferred;
    451-Recipient address deferred;
    451-Recipient address deferred;
    451-Recipient address deferred;
    451 Recipient address deferred;

This is a piece of warning message sent by queue runner:

  test@???
    Delay reason: H=mail2.itsupport.kiev.ua [91.197.146.24]:
    SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<test@???>:
    451-Recipient address deferred;
    451-Rec

As I understood, the length of addr->message in this case is limited to
150 (maximum data length of DBM records).

And senders cannot understand an error message.
This is a real message from a real warning messge:

The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is:

  lytvyn.notarius@???
    Delay reason: H=alt4.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com [172.217.219.26]:
    SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT
TO:<lytvyn.notarius@???>:
    452-4.2.2 The email

The tail of message "account that you tried to reach is over quota.
Please direct\n452-4.2.2 the recipient to\n452 4.2.2
https://support.google.com/mail/?p=OverQuotaTemp t11si15138081ile.162 -
gsmtp" is lost.
