Thanks for the input. The pcre2demo.c source hasn't been looked at for a while.
I have put your information into it as a comment rather than live code because
I don't think it's information that's commonly required (after all, it was only
recently that it was requested). I also made a few other minor changes to
pcre2demo.c.
