Just knowing those errors are there tells us too little to be a basis of
investigation. However, if you look in your rejectlog files for lines
containing "SMTP protocol synchronization error" then you will have more
data to go on and you can tell us what Exim thinks is happening.
You separately seem to have an "internal problem in lists router" which
is spamming your stats; is this new with the RC, or something that has
just been around in your setup for a while, unresolved? When did it
start, according to your logs? What is your "lists" Router configured
as?
