Okay, this is the same issue which Oliver Heesakkers successfully
debugged -- your Local/Makefile has variables defined with leading
whitespace. I'm sufficiently paranoid about whitespace-vs-tabs that I
have always ensured variables don't have leading whitespace, so this
didn't occur to me.

You can strip out the leading whitespace, or you can try the patch
available from here:
