There are two implementations in the code. If OpenSSL is present, that is
used, otherwise a default is used. The default uses various methods, if
present, before falling back to an older routine already in Exim.
I see this was committed after all.
Note that no HAVE_* definitions were applied to the codebase though. See
comment #8 for discussion.
