[exim] Huge problem when changed the default IP

Hello,

I'm new to exim, we got a new server, setup all the works, and found out
that the IP is blocked. So I changed the
interface = new ip address and then are getting the -53 error:
2009-02-24 15:38:08 1Lc4oT-0000rx-1U == xx@??? R=lookuphost
T=remote_smtp defer (-53): retry time not reached for any host

When I change the interface back it works just fine, how can I resolve
this issue?
