You have "forgotten" to add "MIME-Version:" header.
It is wise to always use all three MIME headers.
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

BTW have you considered using UTF-8 charset?
