Subject: [pcre-dev] Move of exim.org to new hardware
We are in the process of moving exim.org to a new box (and different
operating system). The process is nearly complete and should be
mostly[*] transparent to everybody (except perhaps for short outages).
My thanks to Nigel and Magnus, who are doing the bulk of the conversion.

[*] I said "mostly", because if you have pulled a copy of the PCRE
source from the Subversion repository, you will have to make a change
because the name of the host has changed. The old host was
sesame.csx.cam.ac.uk. The new host is tahini.csx.cam.ac.uk. You can use
the new host name, but we have also invented the name vcs.exim.org that
points to the same IP address (vcs = version control system), as a
specific-host-independent name.

To switch your checked-out version of PCRE you can use this command:

svn switch --relocate svn://sesame.csx.cam.ac.uk/pcre \
                      svn://tahini.csx.cam.ac.uk/pcre .

That's what worked for me (after some faffing about :-)

All new commits will be to the new box from now on. The old box will
eventually go away, of course, but we haven't got a timetable for that
yet.

Philip
