1. Everybody I know who is retired tells me that I won't have any
"forever spare time". They are all amazingly busy.

2. I will *not* be leading Exim maintenance. I probably *will* still be
leading PCRE for a while. I plan to unsubscribe from exim-users, but
stay on exim-dev for a while.

3. There are some other programming projects of mine that I will keep up
(my music typesetter needs a general tidyup and spring clean, for
example, and there are the newer text typesetting things I've developed
for the Exim docs - they aren't quite "stable" yet.)

4. There are things that need doing in our house and garden.

5. My wife is not retiring yet. I expect to be doing more cooking.

6. I'll have more time for hobbies such as music and backstage theatre.

7. More time to explore, locally and more widely.

8. Writing my memoirs? That's traditional, isn't it?

9. Something completely unexpected is bound to turn up.
