If I remember well on the V3 (I haven't it on hand for the moment),
there is no option that let you enter a password for authentication, but
as long as the auth is the same for imap and smtp it works if your
server allows PLAIN auth and advertises it. You should probably use port
587 too.

On the KRZR, I have the same log than I had with the V3:

Which proves it used auth and ssl.
