Subject: [exim] No $header_from: in rewriting rule
Hi,

still I'm trying to make my Exim4 work. At least one
essential problem is the following:

Rewriting rule:

begin rewrite

*@* "(--) $header_from: , $h_from: , $header_from , $h_from (--)" Fs

Debug output:
  20:23:28 21804 user@??? in "*@*"? yes (matched "*@*")
  20:23:28 21804 expanding: (--) $header_from: , $h_from: , $header_from , $h_from (--)
  20:23:28 21804 result: (--) , , , (--)
  20:23:28 21804 LOG: MAIN PANIC
20:23:28 21804 Rewrite of user@??? yielded unparseable address: missing or malformed local part (expected word or "<") in address (--) , , , (--)

The header field "From:" is definitely _NOT_ empty. So why
the variable is? What have I to say instead?

The version is Exim 4.62; Gentoo use flags are "X ipv6 pam
perl ssl tcpd".

Thanks in advance,

Bertram
