Sujet: [exim] exiqgrep or queue handling broken?
Hello everyone,

On one of our machines (only one!) the queue processing of Exim seems
not to work
properly and whatever I do with exiqgrep I get:

da3 /var/log % exiqgrep -o 1
Line mismatch: 224d 1FLcig-0006Dg-5S

exiqgrepping anything with any option always gives me the above message.

Interestingly,

da3 /var/log % exim -bpc
51

Throughout the entire day I get this:

Oct 31 02:20:26 da3 MailScanner[55978]: New Batch: Found 52 messages waiting
Oct 31 02:20:26 da3 MailScanner[55978]: New Batch: Scanning 1 messages,
2831 bytes
Oct 31 02:20:36 da3 MailScanner[63046]: New Batch: Found 53 messages waiting
Oct 31 02:20:36 da3 MailScanner[63046]: New Batch: Scanning 2 messages,
34828 bytes
...
Oct 31 15:25:53 da3 MailScanner[67571]: New Batch: Scanning 1 messages,
12562 bytes
Oct 31 15:25:58 da3 MailScanner[55966]: New Batch: Found 52 messages waiting
Oct 31 15:25:58 da3 MailScanner[55966]: New Batch: Scanning 1 messages,
1818 bytes
Oct 31 15:25:58 da3 MailScanner[74594]: New Batch: Found 53 messages waiting

Does anybody have a clue what's going on here?!

Trying to force delivering the queue gives this:

End queue run: pid=8588

..and then nothing happens. If I try exim -q -v again, the very same
thing happens
with the same queue - nothing gets delivered.

Let's say I try to thaw particular message:

da3 /etc % exim -Mt 1GJ3wR-000Acz-9l
Spool data file for 1GJ3wR-000Acz-9l does not exist

Bummer.

exim version: 4.60
