Are you on a dynamic IP?
I used to have no problem with hotmail on my Comcast cable modem.
Ironically, one of the largest sources of spam on the internet (i.e.
Hotmail) has decided to implement an RBL list. So, I suggest MailHop
Outbound. It's quite cheap and was trivial to setup for Exim (as they have a
step by step guide)
