To fill in what Dave is saying, the rDNS should match the name that the
mailserver uses to say HELO/EHLO. This means that your primary_hostname
must match the rDNS for the IP that you are using. I send mail out for
about 650 domains and all of them come out from the same IP and the rDNS
and forward DNS match to that IP. That's all you need worry about.
